IKEA, Ballymun, Dublin
OMS was selected by IKEA to design and build the first IKEA store in the Republic of Ireland. The IKEA store is part of the Ballymun Regeneration Project. The scale of the iconic ‘blue and yellow box’ is reduced by careful massing, humanising the scale of the building and integrating with the environment.
